Welcome to WikiPENTia, what we hope will become a collaborative project to create the most definitive, accurate, and accessible encyclopedia and reference for everything related to the
MD3 Athletic Club.
Latest NewsA website that archives old internet pages has turned into a treasure trove of information on past Pents and the history of the MD3 Athletic Club. Check out our newly unearthed
Pent One recap,
Pent V recap,
Pent VII recap and
Pent 8 recap. Why no recap of Pent 6? Those of you who were there know the answer to that question.
Complete results are now posted for
MD3 Invitational Pentathlon XIV. Congratulations to Adam Hoerner on winning the David Lawrence Jones Memorial Trophy. Adam is the only competitor to have taken part in every single Pent, so his victory was much deserved. Chris Carlins and David Yankovich finished tied for second.
The medal winners were Chris Carlins in Kan Jam, Adam Hoerner in Ladder Golf, Tina Yankovich in Nerf Gun Shootout, Justin Hayes in All-Conditions Bocce and Mike Kolenda in the Ten Frames of Death. Tina's medal is the first for a female competitor in Pent history.
This was the first time a Pentathlon to be held outside the state of Pennsylvania, and only the third time the Pent had been held outside Erie County, Pa. We also set a new record for the most competitors to ever take part in a single Pent, a whopping 22 people.
We're trying to build pages for all of the soundtracks. Pent II, Pent 12 and Pent XIV are already done. If anyone can contribute, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, as I try to do from time to time, I beg anyone with information on past Pents that is not included on this web site to please share it with me. Even the result of an individual match or event will be helpful. If the results are not posted, it's because I do not know them. Thanks as always! - MC
